Cristal Oasis Condominium on Cabarete Beach next to Villa Taina hotel and all the shops, restaurants, bars etc. This is the most iconic condominium building at the best beach location anywhere on the north coast of the DR.
Price - $975,000 USA dollars or best offer. This is a high-end luxury condominium with 19 apartments. Each owned by people who can afford this type of building.
Size (in m² or sq ft) - 2152 square feet (or 200 square meters) + 2 parking spaces and large locked private storage in underground parking. Fully equipped air conditioned gym is located below building in parking garage.
Number of bedrooms: Originally designed as 3 bedroom. 3rd bedroom was opened to convert into an entertainment area with Foosball table, dart board, etc. This space could be re-made to a 3rd bedroom.

Confotur: The is a tax exemption in the Dominican Republic. The Cristal Oasis project has this tax exemption which continues for another 12 years. This means no property tax for 12 more years. However, this tax exemption is awarded only to the buyer who receives title. Because this building is in the final stages of construction and the titles are in the government process, it is easy to sell my sales contract so the new buyer/owner's name goes on the title and they receive the 12 year property tax exemption.
And, this tax exemption allows you to purchase items outside the Dominican Republic and ship into the DR without paying import taxes.
Electric Car Charging? If an owner wants to buy an electric car, the builder can install a charger at the owner's parking space in underground parking garage.
Property features: Directly on ocean, center of Cabarete beach. 1st floor where sliding glass doors open to the pool deck. Stairs go down to beach with code locking doors, bathrooms, showers and storage room for kite surfing and other water sports equipment.
On the beach we are able to use the public beach chairs and umbrellas for free. Attendants can bring food/drink and even massage on the beach.

Rentals are allowed and my condo is estimated to rent from $5000 to $8000 per month.
Most people in the real estate industry on north coast know who George Coutu is. George and his daughter Ele acquired and took over the Cristal Oasis project from the previous builder. George is known as the one of the largest and most successful builders on the North Coast. He is originally from Quebec and built many of the resorts and buildings on Cabarete beach.
George and Ele are both taking condos in this building for themselves. George will live in the penthouse condo and Ele has one of the units as her home.
So, the builder will also become an owner and on the HOA. This is very positive!
